What does an access point do?
An access point connects wireless devices to the enterprise network and forms part of the WLAN infrastructure used by mobile computers, tablets and other field devices.
Why design matters
Coverage, roaming, interference, device density, security and building structure affect real performance. Enterprise wireless projects should therefore be based on a site survey rather than only on nominal radio specifications.
