The thermal printhead is the component that creates the printed image on labels. Print quality, barcode readability and maintenance cost are directly affected by printhead condition, media and ribbon selection.
Compatibility matters
A replacement printhead should be matched against the exact Toshiba printer model, resolution and part number. Similar-looking heads from the same family should not be treated as interchangeable without verification.
